#Hearts underwent production in 2012, born one night from a recording of a typical Boulder Colorado conversation. The concept was to surround that conversation with suitable musical accompaniment to convey distress with the mixture of good and bad qualities of the Colorado drug culture. The album is an anti-drug/pro-drug album. We are all trapped in a game of #Hearts. The album later expanded, including compositions made by Evan and Kyle late in 2014. The album also includes samples of recordings made between 2012-2014 with musicians Lige Williamson, Justin Avdek, and Ryan Fanelli.
